On the occasion of the General assembly of the LEF of June 5th 2016 in Brussels, was unanimously adopted the emergency motion tabled by the French Coordination on the establishment of a working group of the Southern Europe national coordination of the LEF (European Women’s Lobby).
In order to implement this emergency motion which plans that each of our countries establishes an alternative report to the governmental reports concerning the “Paris Declaration” and considers a project around the status of women in public place, a first meeting is scheduled in Lisbon onSeptember 29-30th, 2016. We shall be welcomed by our friends of the Portuguese Coordination (Thank you Ana Sofia).
This first meeting will allow us to establish our working program and to meet our future partners of the Euro-Mediterranean Women’s Foundation as well as the French Association “Gender and City”.
