SUMMARY:Webinário LEM e WAVE: Domestic Violence and Child Contact: European Perspectives
DESCRIPTION:This webinar will be of interest to anyone who wants to learn about current issues and good practice relating to child contact for children and women affected by domestic violence. Speakers will be from the Improving Justice in Child Contact project\, which is working to enhance children’s participation in decision-making across five countries; from the European Women’s Lobby\, looking at gaps in the implementation of the Istanbul Convention relating to child contact across Europe; from Women Against Violence Europe\, on experiences of domestic abuse victims in the family courts in England. \nThe webinar will be chaired by: \nProf. Kay Tisdall\, University of Edinburgh\, Improving Justice in Child Contact (IJCC) \nPresentations by: \n– Dr. Marsha Scott\, Scottish Women’s Aid\, IJCC \n– Ms. Laura Albu\, European Women’s Lobby \n– Prof. Shazia Choudhry\, Queen Mary University/Women against Violence Europe
