SUMMARY:Virtual Stakeholder meeting on “Gender Mainstreaming in the EU Budget”
DESCRIPTION:The European Court of Auditors (ECA) will publish a performance audit report on Gender mainstreaming in the EU Budget. The idea behind gender mainstreaming is simple: gender needs to be taken into account at all stages and in all areas of policy-making and policy implementation. \nThe Special Report intends to provide the context for discussion with a wide range of stakeholders in the EU. On the day of the report’s publication\, we are organising a virtual meeting for stakeholders working on gender mainstreaming in the EU and Member States. It will be an opportunity to discuss the report with Eva Lindström\, the ECA’s Reporting Member for this audit\, and the ECA audit team\, as well as a chance to meet other interested stakeholders. \nAna Sofia Fernandes\, Presidente da Plataforma Portuguesa para os Direitos das Mulheres e Vice-Presidente do Lobby Europeu das Mulheres\, irá participar.
