SUMMARY:Assinatura do Protocolo de Ação da ENED na International conference Building a World of Justice and Solidarity: Global Education in the School System
DESCRIPTION:Nesta conferência será realizada a cerimónia de assinatura do Plano de Ação para a Implementação da Estratégia Nacional de Educação para o Desenvolvimento. A Plataforma Portuguesa para os Direitos das Mulheres é uma das entidades que vai assinar. \nThe Conference is co-organised by GENE – Global Education Network Europe\, the Camões-Institute for Cooperation and Language-Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Directorate-General for Education-Ministry of Education of Portugal\, in partnership with UNESCO and with the support of the European Commission. It will bring together more than 150 GENE participants and other policy makers\, educators\, researchers and representatives of International Organizations. \n GENE is the network of Ministries and Agencies with national responsibility for Global Education in Europe. GENE facilitates policy learning between over 45 Ministries and Agencies and other bodies with national responsibility for Global Education from over 30 European countries. \nIn the face of the complex global challenges Europe and the world are facing\, GENE and its partners believe that it is important to promote a wide debate on Global Education and how it can be a key to empower people to better make sense of global problems\, to reflect critically and explore ways to promote change. \nThe aim of the conference is to focus specifically on Global Education in Formal Education Systems. It will reflect on how Global Education is and could be at the heart of formal education systems\, building on the bases developed in Global Education in Europe over the past 15 years. \nThe conference will host the signing ceremony of the Plan of Action of the Portuguese National Strategy for Development Education 2018-2022.
