SUMMARY:Fostering an inclusive and sustainable recovery in the European Semester context - exchange of views with civil society
DESCRIPTION:The Seminar will explore the involvement of civil society organisations in the European Semester and in the process related to the preparation of the national recovery and resilience plans. Participants will also reflect on challenges and appropriate policy responses to foster an inclusive and sustainable recovery in the context of the European Semester. \nThe Seminar will also provide an opportunity to brainstorm on progress and challenges\, in light of the 2019-2020 Country Specific Recommendation\, in working groups in the following thematic areas: social protection\, homelessness/housing\, access to healthcare\, child poverty\, gender equality and employment. \nThe Seminar will bring together representatives of civil society from many countries of the EU\, European Commission officials\, ECE experts and EU-level NGOs active in the fields of employment\, education\, social affairs and inclusion. The Seminar has received financial support from the European Union Programme for Employment and Social Innovation “EaSI” (2014-2020).
